We are delighted to announce that Forbes, Sequoia Capital and Meritech Capital have recognized PolyAI in the AI 50 2023 list.

Now in its fifth year, this is the first time Forbes has opened AI 50 beyond North American companies to become a global list.

With nearly 800 submissions, the list calls out the most promising, privately-held companies building businesses out of artificial intelligence. Applicants are judged on business promise and technical usage of AI.

This recognition comes at an exciting time for us. Following on from our success at this year’s Best of Enterprise Connect Industry Awards, where we were successful in the following categories:

  • Best Innovation in Customer Experience
  • Most Innovative Use of AI

“We are very excited about being part of this list. PolyAI has seen explosive growth over the last year, and this recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of everyone at PolyAI. We’ve been using generative techniques for years to pretrain our state-of-the-art dialog systems. Our transformer-based models have allowed us to quickly deploy our systems across many different industries, use cases, and languages. Back at Cambridge, we had the good fortune of doing our PhDs on deep learning for Conversational AI when the field started taking off. I am thrilled about the acceleration of progress in AI research taking place.” said Dr Nikola Mrkšić, PolyAI CEO and Co-Founder.

At PolyAI, we deliver exceptional voice experiences by combining our best-in-class technology stack and design methodology. Our methodology recognizes the unique challenge of gaining a caller’s trust through qualities such as transparency, empathy, and clarity and promotes “engagement” over “containment.”
