Overview of the role and team

As PolyAI embarks on its next stage of growth, we’re looking for an ambitious individual to help us build and scale a new go-to-market channel. The team dedicated to this initiative is currently small but looking to grow fast over the next 12 – 18 months. You’ll help set strategy, put in place the operational infrastructure to scale as well as lead conversations in the market to directly expand our list of partnerships and alliances.

Your responsibility will involve

Partnership strategy

  • Working closely with the Head of Commercial Strategy & Partnerships and the executive team to separate market signals from noise, developing the strategy and foundational processes to scale partnerships and alliances around the world
  • Conducting market and competitor research and presenting analysis to inform strategic and tactical choices in the development of the partner channel
  • Becoming an internal partner advocate, liaising with Product and Engineering teams to represent the needs and interests of the partner channel

Day-to-day operations

  • Supporting the Head of Commercial Strategy & Partnerships to manage the recruitment, onboarding, enablement, and revenue activation of new partners
  • Liaising independently with partners to understand needs, growth priorities and what they value about PolyAI to develop joint go-to-market plans
  • Collaborating with Marketing, Operations and Business Development teams to develop and distribute sales and marketing materials to support the partner channel
  • Helping to build and manage the opportunity registration process to ensure internal teams and the partner channel work cohesively in the market
  • Tracking sales opportunities and pipeline metrics in Salesforce for the partner channel
  • Supporting Product and Program Managers during the deployment of our voice assistants to ensure partner and end-user satisfaction

 


 

Minimum Requirements

  • Fluent Dutch and/or German language skills.
  • Excellent communication skills: you’re comfortable with numbers but your strength is in crafting narratives and storytelling.
  • Strong organisational skills: tracking meetings, thinking through meeting agendas, following up on next steps and ticking off to-do lists is second nature.
  • Expert listener: you often walk away from meetings with a clear understanding of what was said, the assumptions being made and the different priorities in the room.
  • Experience engaging with senior executives: you can build rapport, gain consensus, and drive action in a room of VP and Director-level stakeholders.
  • Experience in a growth business or new product division: you’ll happily roll-up your sleeves to make incremental progress, even if the data is imperfect.
  • 1 – 3 years of experience working in/with technology consulting organizations or as part of enterprise software sales cycles.
  • The right to work in the United Kingdom.

Preferred Requirements

We’d love it if you had some of the below:

  • A strong personal interest in emerging technologies. You are tech-forward; you’ve tinkered with conversational AI or other new technologies before they become mainstream.
  • Knowledge of customer service functions or call center technologies for enterprise-size organizations.
  • Experience developing relationships and managing a sales pipeline in a partnership, reseller or strategic alliances context.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Javascript
